Dili Port is surrounded by the Eastern Indonesian Ports and Northern Australian Ports. It is also close to the ports in Papua New Guinea. Current Dili Port is very small. However, once operational the new Tibar Bay Port will be the only deep seaport in the region with state-of-the-art container and multi-purpose cargo handling facilities, offering transshipment opportunities to the regional ports. |
